I deleted probably 100 deviations today. They were older, not my best.. etc. I also feel as though I am taking my photography in a different direction. I don't even attempt live show photography anymore. There are usually too many younger kids with ridiculously expensive cameras their parents bought them in front and center. Yes, I'm bitter.

I've been drawn to more emotive photos and ideas that I want to portray as such. I haven't used my digital cameras in quite some time simply because I like the quality of film much more. I'm actually selling my Sony F828 at the moment and will possibly get rid of my smaller one, too. I've been thinking about replacing the both of them with a smaller digital Canon in the future, but not at this time when money is low.

I've also thought about selling my photography. Which sounds kind of silly but I really haven't ever looked at it as something to make money from. It was just a hobby. Now I'm preparing prints and working on buying a photo printer as well. It would be great to have that as a source of income as well. We'll see what happens.
